The journaling reads:We needed to cross the Paramaribo river to get to Jodensavanne. The bridge had been hit by a boat (years ago) and was replaced by this "ferry". The ferry had limited hours, long lunch breaks, and a driver who went when he wanted. It was odd fully loaded with 3 cars plus people. It seems there are no real plans to fix the bridge.
This is the first of many layouts from our Suriname trip. I used this sketch from sketch-n-scrap. I'm also linking this up to Anything Goes at Paper Issues.
Thanks for looking!
