Here's another 2-page layout, which is a great way to get a lot of photos scrapped. This time, I used the 2 page sketch from Stick it Down which I just discovered. The sketch can be found here.
Lima is a large diverse city, these photos are from the historic district and of food. Lima is known for food, especially the ceviche. And you know those little Peruvian Corn-nuts you can get at Trader Joes? They actually serve them there. :)

Championship Season
Anyone who knows us, knows that our older son runs cross country. It is his passion and he works hard, which yields results. This year he made Varsity as a sophomore, which is an accomplishment in itself. During the first half of the season, the entire team competes, which is about 90 boys. The second half of the season is championship races, which is only the 7 boys on varsity (and sometimes another 7 on JV). Varsity season consisted of 6 races, one a week through mid-October and November, of which they won many and finished 9th in the state. I wanted to wait until the end of the season to scrap the championship season all on one double page.
Whenever the boys win, the 7 of them pose for a group photo for the parents and the media. I didn't actually take most of these photos, I got them from the Internet or people sent them to me.
This is my entry into the Quick Quotes Friday challenge 82 which can be found here. The challenge is to use die-cuts on a page and I used many. The giant arrow and journaling oval are very old pre-made die-cuts that I found in my stash. Also, I manually die-cut the title, banner, chevrons, and white arrow. The background paper is from the Quick Quotes Urban Oasis collection and all paper edges are inked with Quick Quotes Powerpuff inks in coal miner or hydrangea.

Sparkly Holiday Card
Here is nice generic holiday card that I made, I can stamp whatever greeting I need inside when I decide who to mail it to.
The stamps are from Your Next Stamp, colored with copic markers, liquid pearls, stickles, and some old glitter pens. I used glitter cardstock from Bazzill and patterned paper from Heidi Swapp. I used the card sketch #110 from sketch-n-scrap and color challenge #78 from Your Next Stamp.

Mother's Day Card
The Markerpop blog has had watercolor tutorials all month, which has inspired me to bring out mine and conquer my discomfort with this medium. I used my waterbrush with Prima Watercolors (Decadent pies) and assorted inks. Everything is watercolor. I used my Tim Holtz Burlap stencil and modeling paste to add texture to some shimmer cardstock and then painted with watercolors to create the background. I painted the background of my "scene" with watercolors and the same type of shimmer cardstock. Using the scraps of the shimmer cardstock, I painted swatches in several colors from which I die-cut and punched the butterflies. The flowers were stamped and die-cut with Your Next Stamp "Plant some Kindness" and colored with water-color.
This is my entry to the MarkerPop challenge #118 Watercolor Animals (in this case butterflies). This is also my entry to YNS Color challenge #62 and Sketch-n-Scrap card sketch #96.
Patterned papers are from Quick Quotes.

Anne Frank House
Visiting the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam was an incredibly moving experience and educational for my kids. They don't allow photos inside and I think these photos of the outside were actually taken on a different day than the one we visited. I used somber colors and the torn edge for this page to reflect the subject matter. I used this sketch from Stuck?!

Scheepvaart
The maritime museum in Amsterdam is called the Scheepvaart museum, it's in a beautiful building with a moat around it. As we walked to the museum, the boys had fun saying "Scheepvaart." Boys will be boys.
Here is my first page of our visit to this museum.
I used the March sketch from Kaisercraft, which can be found here. Kaisercraft products include papers from the Sandy Toes collection and Check-in collection and the Nautical stamp and die set.

Life is better...
Here is a card I made for my husband, the sentiment is completed inside the card...with you.
This card was inspired by the Kaisercraft February Blog challenge which can be found here. The challenge was to use mostly Kaisercraft products and inspiration from this image:
All papers, stamps, and dies are Kaisercraft. The background papers and the sentiment are from the Sandy Toes collection. The palm tree image is from an older collection called Tropicana and the dark blue border is from the Check-in collection. Stamps are from the Nautical and Rose stamp and die sets.

Amsterdam
Here is a layout with photos from a boat ride through the canals of Amsterdam. I love that the patterned paper has an actual map of Amsterdam.
I used this sketch from Let's Scrap. This is also my entry into the Quick Quotes Heart challenge which can be found here. For that challenge, I used an acrylic heart and the quick quotes Powder puff ink in Mocha Mama and Cherry Blossom. Other products include Graphic 45 papers, YNS tulip stamp colored with copics, October Afternoon heart, Eyelet outlet enamel, and a Creative Embellishments Flair badge.

Cheers to Us!
I made this Valentine for my husband using the "Clink" stamp from Your Next Stamp. I found it very challenging to get the right color for the champagne, so I just put a few different shades on top of one another until I liked the look. The bubbles are Liquid Pearls from Ranger. This was my first time using the Black Olive Ink from YNS and I am very pleased with this ink for stamping and coloring!
This is my entry for sketch #56 from YNS and color challenge #133 from Markerpop.

Utrecht
As I've mentioned previously, my husband went on sabbatical in Utrecht, Netherlands. Here are a couple more pages from our life there. This page is about a local dessert specialty that my son enjoyed at this restaurant. I used this sketch from Stuck?!.
Both pages use Basic Grey papers and Dutch-themed stickers from Scrapbook Customs.
Our apartment was at the far end of the canal shown in this next page. I used the left side of this sketch from Let's Scrap.

Is it wine'o clock?
I made this card using the "life is Grape" stamps set from Your Next stamp and sketch 55 which can be found here. This stamp is tough to color, but I like how it came out this time. I used Memento Tuxedo black ink, markers, Kreaxions heart punch, Paper House paper, Tim Holtz key, and twinery twine.

Card Season
Card season in my family comes right after the winter holidays. In the first 6 weeks of the year, we have 4 birthdays, one anniversary, and Valentine's Day. That's a lot for a small family. I enjoy making cards this time of year because any theme or color scheme is appropriate. Here are my first 2 cards.
This card is made from the Challenge #111 color scheme at Markerpop. Stamps are from Kaiserkraft and Fiskars, and the flower is colored with Copic markers. I'm not sure if I am going to use this card for a birthday or anniversary.
For this card, I used sketch #55 from Your Next Stamp. The ice creams are a YNS stamp colored with Copic markers, Papers are from Basic Grey.
