Card Season

Card season in my family comes right after the winter holidays. In the first 6 weeks of the year, we have 4 birthdays, one anniversary, and Valentine's Day. That's a lot for a small family. I enjoy making cards this time of year because any theme or color scheme is appropriate. Here are my first 2 cards.

This card is made from the Challenge #111 color scheme at Markerpop.  Stamps are from Kaiserkraft and Fiskars, and the flower is colored with Copic markers. I'm not sure if I am going to use this card for a birthday or anniversary.

For this card, I used sketch #55 from Your Next Stamp. The ice creams are a YNS stamp colored with Copic markers, Papers are from Basic Grey.

Thanks for looking!

  1. The second card is such a bright and cheery birthday card! Love how you used the vellum for that part of the sketch. It definitely draws attention to the (delicious) popsicles.

  2. I agree, the vellum for the 1/2 is a great way to meet the sketch and keep it subtle. Wonderful to see you playing along with us at YNS!
