Caiman

I'm finishing up the last few pages for the Suriname trip, including these photos of the Caiman which we saw on the last day. It's like a 4 foot long crocodile, if I had seen it earlier, I might not have enjoyed swimming in the river. I used this sketch from Paper Issues.

Monkey River

These photos are from a one-day tour of Monkey River in Belize. We saw lots of unusual birds, howler monkeys, crocodiles, and a paid of manatees. I used this sketch from Let's Scrap and lots of square photos for this link-up at Paper Issues.

Perfect Blend

I love coffee, especially in this cold weather. My husband and I are both picky about our coffee and typically like the same roasts. I thought these stamps, which I just got, would make the perfect sentiment for a Valentine's Card. Linking this to the Valentine challenge at SWAT.

Greta Run

This layout is about a community race in our town in honor of a teenage girl who died tragically. The race is organized by my son's track coaches and raises money for a good cause. My son got 2nd in his age group in between the tall twins shown in the photo on the right.

I used this sketch from Sketches in Thyme and this also is for this recipe challenge at Scrap-it girl.

Nature's Waterpark

Another page about our Suriname trip. We hiked out to this waterfall for lunch and swim. The guides showed the kids how they could slide down the waterfall and swing on the vine swing in this natural waterpark. Lots of fun!

I used this sketch from ScrapMuch?

Class Trip

My son's 5th grade class visited a science museum and the Mom chaperoning his little group is a friend of mine and she texted me these photos over the course of the day. He had a great time.

I used this sketch from Stuck?! and this color scheme from ScrapMuch?

Soccer in Seattle

While watching the Superbowl last night, I realized that I never scrapped these photos from my son's trip to Seattle (he went on a business trip with his father). The highlight of their trip was going to a Sounders game (the MLS soccer team which plays in the same stadium as the Seahawks).

I used this sketch from Let's Scrap.
